Artists of the 21^st century fearlessly ignore the boundaries of geography, style, and artistic genre in a diverse and flourishing contemporary scene. We represent a group of Montreal-based cultural events whose mission is to promote new, multidisciplinary work, and to offer artists from Montreal and elsewhere an international showcase to express their creativity, uniqueness, culture, and passion. This common mission has inspired us to join forces.

Le Regroupement brings together emerging and audacious cultural events that have proven themselves over the last decade to be cutting-edge and catalysts, events that are creators and promoters of new trends. By working to develop new forms of expression in a festive, collaborative, and community context, we contribute to Montreal’s reputation.

The new generation of festivals we represent embodies the vitality, innovation, and cultural renewal of Montreal. Here and elsewhere, we are ambassadors of a cultural metropolis in constant evolution, bubbling over with a convivial, creative spirit.

We are an important part of Montreal’s heritage and its future, a motor of economic, cultural, and touristic development that Montreal cannot do without. We seek to become important partners in creating the cultural policies that will ensure the identity, the strength, and the energy of our city.

To accomplish our mission, Le Regroupement works in a collaborative network, a mode of expression and working that responds to the needs of artists today: creating exchanges, sharing resources, and promoting sustainable development.

While never denying the unique needs of each member, Le Regroupement allows us to unite our forces, exchange our skills, develop more efficient promotional tools, and share our national and international networks. We strive to give ourselves the means to realize our artistic ambitions, developing new alliances with the national and international festivals that share our vision.

By joining forces and  sharing our means and methods, we will promote the visibility and reknown of Montreal’s dynamic culture in Quebec, in Canada and internationally.
